Riddled with a mixture of surprises, the plot was actually nicely done. This movie misleads the audience into thinking that they are following one main character but they aren’t. The opening guy dies, which makes the audience wonder who the heck the protagonist is supposed to be. The next character suffers the same fate, so you really wonder who the protagonist is. It makes you wonder, is there a protagonist or not, and if this same concept throughout the whole movie until everyone is dead. The movie presents a backstory for Freddy that is well put together, making him out to be possibly innocent, blamed for child molestation, creating a “crimes of the parents” motif.

Most of the characters in the movie are not as fleshed out as Freddy. The burned, nightmare dwelling man, gets completely fleshed out in this movie, even if the reason for him creating the crime is left out. With all the other characters, I kept wondering why they were friends. None of their personalities lined up, but they were so close. It seemed like the writers thought it was interesting that they interacted rather than why.

The action in the movie was steady, especially when you’re not really sure when they are dreaming and when they are awake. And when reality starts to mesh with the nightmare world it becomes more intense. However the audience is still wondering at the end is Freddy the bad guy? I won’t give that away, but I will say the last scene in the movie is confusing. A person dies by Freddy’s hand, but who the heck is dreaming?

Overall this movie is worth seeing. With it being a horror film, there was a plot that held a few surprises along the way. If you are one that loves to be scared then look elsewhere. Nonetheless it still gets a 4 out of 5.

The first thing to do:

First you will need a 52 card deck of cards which is the proper poker deck then you will turn to those who are watching the trick and tell them you are going to split the deck into various bundles, now shuffle the deck. The card at the top of each pile is the card that you begin with it is important to hold the decks facing upwards so you keep track of everything that is going on. There will be thirteen cards in each pile, ace is the first then count up from there. It will take a different amount of cards to reach thirteen because it depends on what the starting card is. Make a pile of cards starting with an ace and be sure there are thirteen cards in the pile. Your initial card is a two, so we will take the next card as number three, then the next as number four and so on until we have counted thirteen cards, it wont matter what the suits are. If the first card is a ten then count the following one as eleven, the next as twelve and finally thirteen to finish the pile off. Unlike the other piles this one will only have four cards. Count silently to yourself so you do not give it away. Sort the piles on the table with them facing up so that everyone can see them then once used flip them back over so that the bottom cards become the top ones.

Here is the finesse:

Make it look like you are just placing down random piles of cards when you are actually counting the cards. Do not put a face card in the beginning of a pile. On the chance that you select a face card as your first card then put in back in the deck saying, “I hate face cards so much” and continue on with the magic. While counting the cards and setting up your piles be sure you are keeping track of the cards faced up you are shuffling. There will be remaining cards at the end of deck which will not add up to enough cards to form a pile with. Because the remaining cards will not make a pile of thirteen they have to be put aside and not mixed in with the rest. Just say, “I have enough cards already’ and place the rest safely aside. Count without making mistakes because that is what the real trick is about.

The next phase:

Seven piles will be left in front of you, give or take a few. Do not stress about your number of piles. After removing them get the people to hand you the piles one at a time. With the cards you had set aside put them into your hand face down while they make their choices. Put the cards they give you together with those cards you have in your hand. You end up with six piles and that means they have to choose three to be taken away, if it were seven piles in front of you they would have to remove 4 of them. Be sure there are always three piles left. Even if you tell them to leave three piles on the table it will still work.

This part is fun:

Let the people flip over the card on the top of any two piles to reveal what is there. Two of the piles now have up facing cards on the top. What you want to do is find the number that is on top of the pile so search the deck. Remember to tell them you will only know the number of the card not the suit. The magic continues. Pretend to be searching for the right number even though you are secretly counting the cards. You are in fact counting the cards. To start with count ten cards. Next read out the number on the starting card that is facing up on one of the piles of cards. Now count up to what the second card facing up had as its number. Count out the ten cards if you had a two and three facing up on the piles, next two and three more from the cards turned over.

The grand finale:

Now you have some cards left in your hand. It could be one card or you might have ten cards left. Count the last cards without being obvious and then put them down and say, “Okay, I have found the right card. The number of the top card on the last pile is a…” You will say whatever the number of remaining cards is after you have counted out all the other cards. So, if there is just one card left you will say the card is an Ace. Or, if there were two cards left you will say the card is a two, and so on. Let your audience turn the top card of the last pile to reveal the correct number.

Final thoughts:

It wont fail as long as you have counted everything correctly. When turning the piles over keep an eye on the first cards on the top of each pile, do not let them be misplaced. You have to start with 52 cards for it to work. When counting cards try your best to be cool and confident that way it will be more effective on the people watching. I hope you’ve been keeping up with our series on ukulele chords for beginners because in this part we’ll being taking things on step further with a challenging chord.

All beginners start out with the same chords and those chords only require you to fret one note at a time with each finger (e.g. in the F chord, your middle finger only has to hold down the G string and your index finger only has to hold down the E string). Today’s chord is more tricky.

In order to play the B minor chord you will have to fret more than one string with a single finger. How do you do that? All will become clear.

Barring Strings

Barre chords are those that require you to lay your finger across two or more strings in order to play the chord. B minor chord is such a chord.

In order to create a barre take your index finger (or ‘pointer’ finger if you prefer) and lay it across all four of the ukulele strings at the third fret. Press it down so that all the strings are firmly held against the neck of the ukulele.

Now play each string individually. By playing one note at a time, you’ll be able to tell which strings you are not holding down correctly. If the chord doesn’t sound right at first, don’t worry. Everyone takes some time before they can fret a barre with all the notes ringing clearly.

Just carry on adjusting the position of your finger and how hard you are holding down the strings until you can get a clear sound on every string of the ukulele.

How To Play B Minor

In order to play a B minor chord (usually referred to as Bm), you need to create a barre with your index finger across the second fret. Once you have that sounding clearly, use your ring finger to play the G string at the fourth fret.

Adding this extra note may affect your hand position and mean that the chord doesn’t sound right. Change your hand position and try adding a little extra pressure until it sounds correct again.

Before they can tear him limb from limb, the bellowing voice of the mythic monster, Zugor, voiced by George Carlin, echoes across the mountains, giving Tarzan the chance to escape. He sets off again as is soon taken in by a grumpy old gorilla. It becomes apparent that the old gorilla is much more than he appears.

The crotchety old gorilla is the infamous monster, Zugor. He has been using the hollow trees on the mountain to scare away the other gorillas. In order to keep his secret, he agrees to help Tarzan find out just what he is. He is not a gorilla, nor a monkey, that can only mean one thing. When Uto and Kago return, Tarzan is forced to fend them off. Can he escape from the bullies and get home in one piece?

TARZAN II makes for an entertaining accompaniment to the original. Though the first film is considered the last great hurrah of the Disney Renaissance, its sequel is a welcome exploration of a world first brought to life by the famous science fiction and fantasy writer, Edgar Rice Burroughs. TARZAN II is time well spent.

When you first start playing the ukulele, it can be very frustrating to get your chord changes flowing smoothly and sounding right. You’ll often hear beginner ukulele players strumming along and then have to slow down or stop completely when they have to change chords.

Tip 1: Get Super Slow

The problem of jerky playing arises when you try to play at too high a tempo. The best thing to do when tackling a new tune is to start slowly – VERY slowly! Once your fingers get used to it, it will be easier.

It’s much easier to start very slowly and get your fingers used to the moves they will have to make than it is to keep trying – and failing – to do it at a fast pace.

Tip 2: Play Evenly

This tip follows on nicely from the first. The idea is to play at such a speed that you can change chords without interrupting the flow of the music. If that means you have to play very slowly indeed, that’s not a problem at all.

Doing it this way will mean you playing is much tighter and less sloppy once you start to increase the tempo up to full performance speed.

Tip 3: Think Ahead

You should have in your mind and which chord comes next and how you’re going to change to it. Think of ways you could make that change easier for yourself.

Take the change from a C chord to a G chord. With the C chord you’ll be fretting the A string with your third finger. Whilst you’re doing this, you could also be holding down the A string at the second fret with your middle finger – so it will be there already when you have to change to G.

Another preparation you can make is to have your fingers placed just above the string where they will have to be for the next chord. Now they will be much closer to where they need to be for the next chord.

Indeed, though Piglet is often depicted as a rather frightened and timid creature, it is his resourcefulness that tends to move the plot forward.

The film begins with Pooh, Rabbit, Tigger and Eeyore trying to lure the bees from their beehive. The plan to liberate the honey backfires and though he was told his small size would be of no use, it is Piglet who redirects the bees and saves his friends from suffering from their stinging wrath. Of course, none of the others realize his heroism and Piglet sulks off into the One Hundred Acre Wood unnoticed.

When the friends realize Piglet is missing, they set on an adventure to find their lost friend, whom they believe was kidnapped by the bees. Armed with Piglet’s scrapbook, they set off to find their little friend. Unfortunately, Tigger loses the scrapbook in the river and the friends are forced follow the river to the waterfall. There they attempt to reach the scrapbook, which is perched precariously on a low hanging branch. Can they reach the scrapbook before it falls over the waterfall? Who will be brave enough to help?

Though the film didn’t quite achieve the same box office numbers as THE TIGGER MOVIE, it did fairly well and was well received. It remains a fan favorite and a very family friendly film. For anyone who has ever felt small, PIGLET’S BIG MOVIE is sure to inspire and entertain.

Don’t make the mistake of buying from a pawn shop on your first time out. They will try to sell the guitar at the highest price they can get away with, and knowing you are a beginner they will more than likely take advantage of you.

Most important of all is to remember that acoustic guitars all have a unique sound. Even though it is a popular model mass produced by machinery it may not sound like the other similar models. And a popular name doesn’t make it sound good either. If you know anyone with guitar playing experience, take them along to help test it out.

American pop rock bands are in a competitive market and they have to work hard, touring the world and producing high quality records. Maroon 5 cds have brought the band chart success and a loyal core of fans. They began life in 1994 under the name, Kara’s Flowers, and changed to the current name in 2001. When I first decided to learn to play piano, I didn’t really know how to go about it. Learning to play piano is de rigueur in a family of musicians, but no one else in my family ever played any sort of music. I had a lot of friends who were guitarists, and I first thought that I would learn to play the way they did. Most of the guitarists I knew learned by ear. They just started playing along with whenever they heard on the radio. When you play piano like that, however, is extremely hard. You see, piano requires a more principled approach.

In some ways, piano is one of the easier instruments. It is logically organized, after all, with all of the notes laid out in front of you. When you learn to play piano, however, you quickly come to realize that although the piano is straightforward, piano music is anything but. The piano has the most complex possibilities of perhaps any instrument, and classical composers take full advantage of that. If you want to learn to play piano well, you cannot just sit around and goof off, trying to play what you hear on the radio. You have to take some lessons.

I first started to seriously learn to play piano on the Internet. There were some good online piano lessons, and I was surprised by how much I could get just by watching a few basic drills. A lot of the process of learning piano is practicing some simple drills. Once you see a video of someone playing those drills, you can learn how to do them yourself. Then, you can practice at home over and over again until you can do them effortlessly. If you want to learn to play piano like one of the greats, however, you eventually need to work face to face with someone.

This can be an issue if you want to learn to play piano and don’t have a lot of money. After all, professional lessons aren’t cheap. The best way to do it in my opinion is to learn all you can on your own. Instead of getting piano lessons every week, get them every other week. Between the piano lessons, practice fanatically. Spend every moment you can drilling and drilling again.

That way, when you get your lessons, you can move on to something new. You make the most of your time and money and learn to play piano much quicker than you would otherwise. I would not say that it’s the only way to do things, but it does work a lot better than just stumbling through on your own. It certainly worked for me.

WALL-E: This film is an animation comedy. Everyone has been removed from Earth because it had become a big pile of trash. Wall-E, a robot built to remove trash, has been left behind to clean up the planet. When Eve, another robot, arrives looking for any signs of life, Wall-E is finally not alone. Eventually, when Eve is recovered by the craft that sent her, Wall-E sneaks aboard, and thus starts the adventure of his robot life.

BOLT: Bolt: This movie is an animated comedy. Bolt is a dog actor, who plays the role of a dog that has super hero dog powers. The thing about Bolt is that he honestly believes he has superpowers. After he is unexpectedly put into a real life situation, he discovers that he is only a normal dog. On a journey to get back home, he is helped by a cat named Mittens, and an overweight hampster named Rhino.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: I guess it was a typical night out in Vegas. Young partiers Joy and Jack wake up and soon realize that they had married each other the night before. They wind up winning a large jackpot at the slot machines, but there is a debate on who gets the money, so they try to settle it in court. The strange ruling is that for the next few months they must stay together, and give their marriage a chance. With lots of money at stake, they each try to get the other to give up, as both desire to have the cash for themselves.
