Check the storage compartments thoroughly, including the glove box, before leaving the car for good.
The last thing is to remember that you have taken possession of someone else’s property and to respect it as such. You wouldn’t drive around crazily and trash your favorite relative’s car and expect them to not be upset, would you? Renting a car is just like renting anything else: you have to take good care of it if you ever expect to be able to rent again in the future.
